Harlan Ellison's original stories were published by Harper & Row in 1975; St. Martin's Press in 1983. The DEATHBIRD stories have been revised and corrected for this finely bound and produced Easton Press edition.

Ralph Waldo Ellison (1913 – 1994) was an American novelist, literary critic, and scholar. Ellison is best known for his novel INVISIBLE MAN, which won the National Book Award in 1953.

This fine leather and corrected edition collects nineteen stories. These iIclude the Hugo Award winning stories: "The Deathbird" (1973), and "Adrift Just Off the Islets of Langerhans" (1974).
