This handsome volume contains several prominent Western artists, of whom "H" Holden is one of the best and most respected. Per Chuck Schroeder: “Oklahoma has spawned no greater creative genius than that of Harold T. 'H' Holden.”

Harold T. Holden, or “H” (born in Enid, OK) after obtaining an art degree from the Texas Academy of Art became art director at Horseman Magazine. He also began a career as a self-taught sculptor. "H" was inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Gaylord-Pickens Museum (2013).
