Ann Charters (born 1936) is a professor of American Literature at the University of Connecticut at Storrs. She is probably THE AUTHORITY on Kerouac.

After completing her doctorate, she worked with Jack Kerouac to compile his bibliography. After his death, she wrote Kerouac: A Biography (1973). She was the only biographer who had access to Kerouac and interviewed him about the circumstances in which he wrote his books.

VERY FINE condition: tight, bright, clean copy in a sharp dust jacket (unclipped) with slight corner wear.

Price: $35.00
