SUPERIOR COPY internally & externally. Cloth has "sunning" and fading to the green cloth on the spine, ~ 1" bands along the cover tops, and the gutters. Tight and clean copy. Moderate external wear. Ernest Thompson Seton (1860 – 1946) was an author, wildlife artist, founder of the Woodcraft Indians in 1902 (renamed Woodcraft League of America), and one of the founding pioneers of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) in 1910. The frirst edition of Wild Animals I Have Known was published in 1898.
