Poul Anderson (1926 – 2001) was a Danish-American science fiction author who began his career in the 1940s and continued to write into the 21st century. Anderson authored many works of fantasy, historical novels, and short stories. His awards include seven Hugo Awards and three Nebula Awards. In 2000, he was inducted into the Science Fiction and Fantasy Hall of Fame.

THE CORRIDORS OF TIME is a classic of time travel set largely in Denmark. Warring groups called Warriors and Rangers move through corridors rotated in time. (Poul earned a physics degree from the University of Minnesota.) It first appeared May-June, 1965, in Amazing Stories.
