Henry Arthur Jones (1851 – 1929) was an English dramatist who wrote dramas of social and moral criticism. He became a skeptical critic of H. G. Wells, and this book collects his letters contra Wells' Bolshevism.

SCARCE thus INSCRIBED & SIGNED by this critic of then hugely popular Wells. The first edition also appeared in 1921. The author dates his "Note to the Second Edition" February, 1922.

Binding is quite firm; paper moderately age-toned (more so on endpapers); cover is soiled and faded with vertical splitting and slight losses along both gutters (though not seeming to affect web sewing).
