EXCEPTIONAL copy of "lost notebooks" by the noted naturalist that include his nature and philosophical musings along with biographical photos and excellent nature sketches by Leslie Morrill. The dj has very slight wear.
Loren Eiseley (1907 – 1977) was an American anthropologist, educator, philosopher, and natural science writer. Among his bestselling books were The Immense Journey (1957), Darwin's Century (1958), The Unexpected Universe (1969), and The Night Country (1971). Some thought of him as "the modern Thoreau."
