Robert John Byrd (born 1942) is an American author, art teacher in Philadelphia, and illustrator. Byrd has written and illustrated five picture books on Leonardo da Vinci. He has also illustrated books for other authors, including Jack Stokes, Robert Kraus, Bruce Kraus, Laura Amy Schlitz, Kathleen Krull, Marilyn Jager Adams, and Paula Fox.
