Facsimile edition of this 4th Land of Oz' series volume first published in 1908. This appealing and colorful FACSIMILE was published in 1990. This was one of the two Oz books illustrated by Neill with full-page watercolors (the other being The Emerald City of Oz {1910}.) L. F. Baum (1856 – 1919) was an American author chiefly famous for his children's books, particularly The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and its sequels. He wrote a total of 14 novels in the Oz series, plus 41 other novels, 83 short stories, over 200 poems, and many scripts.
SUPERIOR CONDITION internally & externally with a brilliant and colorful dust jacket and lovely illustrations (many in full color). Four pages (pp.178ff.) have been imperfectly folded on their lower corners during printing and have been straightened leaving folds.
