Yossi Stern (Israeli, 1923-1992) Yossi ("Josse)" Stern was a prominent Israeli artist based in Jerusalem who was widely exhibited and published several illustrated books. PEOPLE OF THE BOOK contains Stern's artistic impressions of the 'patriarchs and prophets' who filled the Tanakh/Old Testament as well as more delightfully colorful representations of scenes from the life of modern Israel.
