Two interesting features of this study are the author's discussion of the importance that religious (Roman Catholic!) missionary activity had on the Norse expansion into Iceland, Greenland, and beyond into Vineland; another feature is his discussion of the relationship between early European maps and Viking activities.

THOR HEYERDAHL, who wrote the Epilogue, was, of course, the author of Kon-Tiki.

FINE Condition: a few clean nicks and light soil to Uncommon dust jacket.

Price: $22.00
