A remarkably insightful and important study--too often neglected--of the life of Jesus by one of the great German New Testament scholars.
In Very Good overall condition. Pages are clean, unannotated though moderately age-toned, tight--excepting rear blank loose in vol. II. The principal defects are to the spine of volume I. It had its cloth split away from the sewing and some losses of spine outer cloth. The loose spine covering has been relaid, but there are some gaps due to losses of the cloth.
The sewing and webbing for this volume--like the others--remains strong. There are also a few small chips or wear to the spine heads and feet of the other volumes as well as corners of the volumes. Fore-edges have some spotting but not affecting margins or text.
