L. Frank Baum (1856 – 1919) was a bestselling American author famous for his children's books, particularly The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and its sequels. He wrote a total of 14 novels in the Oz series, plus 41 other novels, 83 short stories, over 200 poems, and at least 42 scripts.

VERY GOOD CONDITION. Cloth is quite tight and clean with light wear. Spine has faded. Pages are lightly and unformly age-toned without marks or scirbbles. Plates and illustrations are bright without foxing. Bookplate on front pastedown & gift presentation on "This Book Belongs To" preliminary page.
