John Dickson Carr (1906 – 1977) was an American author of "Golden Age" detective stories which often have a British setting and characters. His two best-known fictional detectives (Dr. Gideon Fell and Sir Henry Merrivale) were both English.
SCARCE in this generally superior condition. Tight, clean copy in a bright, slightly rubbed and edgeworn jacket (price-clipped). Inside of jacket cleanly taped at head of spine without bleedthrough. Very light uniform age-toning. No previous owner marks.
