William Crawford (1913–1982) was an American editorial cartoonist. In addition to his cartoon work he illustrated more than 20 books, including the humorous Zebra Derby by Max Shulman and Milton Berle's Out of my Trunk.

H[enry] L[ouis] Mencken (1880 – 1956) was an American journalist, essayist, satirist, cultural critic, and scholar of American English. He commented widely on the social scene, literature, music, prominent politicians, and contemporary movements.

Remarkably well preserved and charming title for Christmas by the curmudgeonly (sometimes humorous) verbally versatile Mencken. No previous owner markings. Bright, clean colored plates.
