Morley Baer (1916 – 1995), an American photographer and teacher. He was head of the photography department at the San Francisco Art Institute, and known for his photographs of San Francisco's "Painted Ladies" Victorian houses, California buildings, landscape and seascapes. Baer used the same Ansco 8x10S view camera on a wood tripod for virtually all his serious photography. The result here is a suite of magnificent photographs.
Another wilderness classic by naturalist David Rains Wallace, a modern Thoreau.
