A beautifully illustrated, executed, and printed reproduction of the Trianon Press limited edition of 1967 under the supervision of the heads of the Trianon Press. Facsimile signature of Ben Shahn in his Foreword.

Cloth and text are in VF Condition. Tight, bright, clean, square. Dust jacket is unclipped, sharp and clean apart from one faint 1/2" oval waterstain at 4 o'clock on its front panel. No previous ownership or remainder marks.

Ben Shahn (1898 – 1969) was a Lithuanian-born American artist. He is widely appreciated for works of social realism; bold treatment of Jewish and underclass themes; social-documentary photography (e.g., for the WPA), stained glass, and murals; paintings and prints, and his publications: The Biography of Painting (1956), and lectures in The Shape of Content (1960).
