Jeffrey Mark Goldberg (born 1965) is an American journalist (WAPO; The New Yorker). He is the editor-in-chief and a contributor to The Atlantic.

Prisoners: A Muslim and a Jew Across the Middle East Divide (New York: Knopf, 2006), describes his experiences in Israel during 1990 during the first Palestinian uprising. Goldberg was working at a military prison camp when he had contacts with Rafiq, a prisoner and rising leader in the PLO whom Goldberg would later befriend in Washington, D.C.
