Cyril Trimnell-Ritchard (1898 – 1977), known professionally as "Cyril Ritchard," was an Australian stage, screen and television actor, and director. He is often remembered today for his 1954 performance as Captain Hook in the Mary Martin musical production of Peter Pan. This recording, reading, and singing performance of Alice in Wonderland was originally made for Caedmon Records shortly after Richard's success as Captain Hook.
