Dr. Oliver Sacks (1933 - 2015) was a physician, best-selling author, historian of science, and professor of neurology. He was the author of many bestselling books using case histories, including Musicophilia, Awakenings, and THE MAN WHO MISTOOK HIS WIFE FOR A HAT--probably his most famous work. He was dubbed “The Poet Laureate of Medicine” by The New York Times.
A very handsomely illustrated and printed edition of Dr. Sacks wonderfully engaging book. Martin O’Neill has worked as an illustrator & collage artist for two decades. He creates unique hand-made collages from a fusion of collage, silkscreen, paint, photocopies and digital techniques.
SUPERIOR CONDITON internally & externally. Bright, tight, clean with equally fine illustrations and slipcase. A few pages have a barely noticeable bump to their upper right corners (probably caused by careless placement in the slipcase). No remainder markings.
