Luedeking & Edmonds A38a, etc.
These three autobiographical installments were succeeded by: (1967). Downhill All the Way: An Autobiography of the Years 1919–1939; and (1969). The Journey Not the Arrival Matters: An Autobiography of the Years 1939–1969. London: Hogarth Press. ISBN 978-0-7012-0326-9. (In 1963, LW also wrote Diaries in Ceylon, 1908–1911 and Stories from the East: Records of a Colonial Administrator.)
Previous single owner's ink name neatly written on front pastedown of each volume. She is the same person who was sent the accompanying typed personal note SIGNED by Leonard Woolf. It would appear that these three volumes had been sent to said owner (and her husband--both Virginia Woolf devotees) by The Hogarth Press, and that LW had separately sent the lady and her husband his note of thanks.
