Peter and the Wolf (Russian) Op. 67, a 'symphonic fairy tale for children', is a musical composition by Sergei Prokofiev in 1936. The narrator tells a children's story about brave Peter capturing a dangerous wolf. This story has been adapted from the musical theme. It is Prokofiev's most frequently performed work, and has frequently been adapted as a children's book.
