An attractive and rare example of a selection from a composition of Franz von Suppe (1819-1895). He was a conductor and composer during the Romantic period who wrote four dozen light operettas. He is familiar to many today because his cheerful music has been widely used in Walt Disney films such as Bugs Bunny as well as others by Walter Lanz.
