Tor Seidler (born 1952) is an American author of children's literature. Many of his books feature anthropomorphic animals. MEAN MARGARET was a Finalist for the National Book Award, The Wainscott Weasel was named a Notable Children's Book by the American Library Association, and A Rat's Tale was named Best Book of the Year by Publishers Weekly.
Jon Agee is an American author-illustrator-playwright-librettist-palindromist. He is probably best known for his fourth book, The Incredible Painting of Felix Clousseau, in which a mysterious painter's pictures come to life. His other books, featuring canine professors, forgotten astronauts, and guffawing grumps, are at times quirky, nonsensical, satiric, and always humorous.
MEAN MARGARET is a silly story about newly married woodchucks who find a wailing toddler and take her into their hearts.
