Samuel Max Melamed (1885–1938) was a brilliant American philosophy professor and a Zionist publicist, known as Dr. S. M. Melamed.

Condition: SCARCE title INSCRIBED and in VERY GOOD CONDITION: Tight, clean, with moderate soil and toning to dust jacket, which is unclipped but has some white strips along edges. Scotch tape on top of rear dj flap. Discoloration on front pastedown probably by a former bookplate. Paper is uniformly age-toned with darkening to its deckle edges. No internal markings or notes by previous owners.
