John Galsworthy OM (1867 – 1933) was a famous English novlist. The White Monkey is the first book in the second trilogy which comprises John Galsworthy"s Forsyte Saga; that is, this is the fourth book in the series, and the first in the Modern Comedy trilogy. The Forsyte Saga (1906-21) and its sequels are considered Galsworthy's masterwork(s). The author won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1932.

NEAR FINE COPY overall: tight, clean, with minor flaws to cloth and the dust jacket, which is slightly soiled.

Cloth has slight soil and lightly bumped corners. A few chips lost to upper and lower portions of dust jacket along the spine and light stains to rear panel.
